Catvocacy Press was created from a simple belief: every cat deserves a chance to live a safe, healthy, and valued life. Based in Columbia, Texas, we are dedicated to raising awareness, uplifting local feline rescues, and inspiring communities to speak up for cats in need.

Meet Pamela Urban

I'm Pamela Urban, a cat lover, writer, advocate, and community outreach organizer. Over the years, I've seen firsthand the struggles faced by homeless and outdoor community cats, as well as the heroic efforts of people working tirelessly to help them. Catvocacy Press grew from my deep desire to combine storytelling and outreach to inspire meaningful compassion and responsible action.

Across our neighborhoods, countless cats are abandoned, born outdoors, left unaltered, or surrendered to overcrowded shelters. Behind every statistic is a sentient creature that relies on our care. Catvocacy Press exists to educate, advocate, and connect passionate people with the knowledge, TNR resources, and support systems required to save lives.
